This page explains how the ViCyber website may process personal data when you visit the site, contact us, or choose to enable external content or optional analytics.

What data may be processed
The site normally works without user accounts and without first-party contact forms posting directly to ViCyber infrastructure.
Technical data may still be sent automatically to the hosting infrastructure, such as IP address, user-agent, request time, requested URL and information needed for security, delivery and diagnostics. If you open the Google Form used for the KDays campaign, you may also submit contact data and information about sponsorship, participation, or operational support.

Purposes and legal bases
We process the minimum necessary data to deliver the website, maintain security and operate core functionality.
External content relies on your explicit consent. If analytics are used, they may be controlled either through the site settings or directly at the Cloudflare configuration layer, depending on the deployment mode.
- Legitimate interest or technical necessity for hosting, security and content delivery
- Consent for Google Maps loaded from the homepage
- Consent for Cloudflare Web Analytics where that functionality is configured directly by the site
- Contractual steps and/or legitimate interest for handling voluntary KDays inquiries submitted through Google Forms, including sponsorship leads and participation interest as member or volunteer
Recipients and providers
Data may be accessed by providers used for hosting, network-level protection and, when enabled after consent, external content or optional analytics.

- Cloudflare Web Analytics if it is enabled for the domain and according to the active deployment configuration
- Google Forms / Google LLC when you open and submit the public KDays support form
- Google Sheets / Google LLC where form responses are mirrored for operational follow-up
- Asociația Universitatea Copiilor and its payment processor if you choose the hosted donation flow
International transfers
Some providers used by the site may process data outside the EEA depending on their global infrastructure.
Transfers and safeguards should be verified against provider documentation and the relevant contractual documents.
Retention periods
Privacy preferences and language preferences remain in your browser until you change or remove them.
Retention periods for technical logs or analytics depend on the provider configuration actually used in production.
Google Form submissions may remain in the Google Forms interface and in the team operational Google Sheet for as long as reasonably needed to review, answer, and archive sponsorship or support discussions.

Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where relevant, portability.
If you gave consent for optional categories, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
